He found enjoyment in crea)ng characters. Through his skills of reading people, understanding their concerns, and resolving issues, he was able to enter the mind, body, and soul of each character and allow the story to develop around them. With his direc)on, he saw the story develop through each of his characters. He enjoyed wri)ng and developing each character. The Quest encompassed his life. He lived inside the minds of his characters, wri)ng the experiences of the characters as they traveled through the adventure. In )me, Quest took over much of his life. He was spending all of his free )me inthe Quest, living the lives of each character, allowing the characters to lead the adventure. Their decisions and ac)ons took over the story un)l the story itself came alive. To T. K. Kohl, wri)ng is not about wri)ng words, it’s about experiencing the story and bringing that story to life. The characters drive the Quest. The characters live the Quest. The Quest is about taking you out of your armchair into another realm, to live alongside the characters, in the realm of Quest of the Sta8 and the Sword.
